It’s true we have outgrown our name!
Because King of Cakes has become so much more than irresistible German style cakes and wholesome pastries, we need to select a new name to replace our royal badge. The new name must be global, easy to remember and encompasses more than just cakes, like “Bavarian Bakery”, etc..
Can I ask you to take a few minutes to help in our quest for this new identity? We will reward the best 3 suggestions with:

Our Story
King of Cakes opened to the Brisbane community on April 1990 with the aim to produce the best German style cakes and wholesome pastries. 23 years on, we have proved this not just with our cakes but also from rye breads to savoury pies, and even catering and functions. It became a local meeting point for the community to bond over a nice cup of coffee and grab a loaf of bread on the way home.
Who would have thought 23 years ago with our wobbly stools and tables, the impact we’ll have on the Brisbane populace. Customers loved us then and still do now.
The call to expand has been heard, and we are ready to franchise and branch out. Help us with this project by providing your suggestions for our new name.
